Angular (commonly referred to as "Angular 2+") is a TypeScript-based free and open-source web application framework led by the Angular Team at Google and by a community of individuals and corporations.

AngularJS is a structural framework for dynamic web apps, which was developed in 2008-2009 by Misko Hevery and Adam Abrons and is now maintained by Google. It's a JavaScript open-source front-end framework primarily used for developing single-page web applications (SPA). It is an expanding framework that provides better ways to develop web applications; the same team that built AngularJS.

It lets you use HTML (as your template language) and lets you extend HTML syntax to express your application's components clearly and concisely. AngularJS's data binding and dependency injection eliminate most of the code you would otherwise write.
