What is Schema (Pl. Schemata)?

Overview

A schema (pl. schemata) is a template used in the field of genetic algorithms in computer science to identify subsets of strings that have similarities at certain positions of the series.

Schemata are a particular case of cylinder sets, which form the basis of the product topology on lines. It allows you to logically group objects in an Oracle database and the overall description of the database. The basic structure of how the data will be stored in the database is called a schema. Three types of the schema are - logical schema, physical schema, and view schema. Logical Schema - Describes the database design at the logical level.Physical Schema - Used in data management to describe how data is represented and stored.View Schema - View schema defines the design of the database at the view level of data abstraction.
