The application of psychological and physical principles to engineering and product designing, processes, and systems is called Ergonomics.

Ergonomics is a discipline of science that deals with the effective design of workplaces, products, and effective workflows, all of us engage in designing effective human interaction. Ergonomics is the applied science related to designing and arranging things for users so that people interact more efficiently and safely. All manufacturers aim for a highly efficient and safe working environment. Therefore, it stands to reason that ergonomics is vital to the success of an organization.

There are three types of ergonomics for UX design: physical, cognitive, and organizational. Each of these contributes to organizational success and worker satisfaction.
