Overview

A drop-down menu is a list of items that appear when you click on a text or button. It is a graphical approach that allows users to select a value from a list presented. Drop-down menus are also known as pull-down menus, pull-down lists, drop-down lists, or drop-down boxes.

A Dropdown list/menu is a toggleable menu that allows the user to select a value from a predefined list. It’s a pre-built navigation element that can be added to almost any area of the site. Often you will see a dropdown element in the navigation bar of a website.
