What is Production Environment?

Overview

The production environment is a term used by UI/UX developers to describe the setting where software and other products are actually put into operation for their intended use by end users.

A production environment can be thought of as a real-time setting where programs are run and hardware setups are installed and relied upon for organization or commercial daily operations.

The production environment refers to the place where software or products are created for the audience to use. Once something happens in a production environment, all bugs should be fixed while the product and update should work perfectly.

All testing is done in the development and staging environments, while new products and updates are launched in the production environment.
