What is Notifications?

Overview

A notification is an updated indicator that announces or shows something new for the user to check. Usually refers to the completion of a task, new items to check, etc. Every notification works differently for each app, and they're easy to customize.

A notification is a formal short message about notifying or informing something new. Notifications alert you to many things, including incoming messages, new emails, and calendar events on your Android device.

A notification is a message that electronic devices (mobile and computers) display outside of your app's UI to provide the user with reminders, or other timely information from a software to communicate with other people or to complete a task. Users can tap on the notification to open your app or take action directly from the notification.
