What is Wireframes?

A wireframe is a simple visual guide that represents the skeletal structure of a website or digital product. A wireframe is a schematic or blueprint of the structure of software or a website, useful for helping programmers and designers think and communicate.

A wireframe is a blueprint of a screen. They are a low-fidelity representation of a website's layout and content. Wireframing is the process of designing a product or feature (desktop or mobile) at a structural level, in order to quickly capture design information and identify any key usability issues.

Wireframing is a practice used by UX designers. Wireframes allow all stakeholders to agree on where information will be placed before developers interface with the code. The wireframing process occurs during the exploration phase of the product life cycle.
