What is Iterative Design?

Overview

Iterative design is the practice of continuously refining, improving, and updating the product. It is a specialized approach based on a cyclical process of prototyping, testing, analyzing, and refining a product.

Iterative design is a process in which you regularly create a design and then refine it according to feedback – eliminating any asymmetry or misalignment with your user's mental model of how the product should work.

Iterative design is a methodology that presents your digital experience as a living project that you must transform regularly and as you progress, build it all at once and be done for good. Rather it should be improved. The main principle of the iterative approach is to break down the workflow of a large project into smaller steps and simplify the design process.
