What is Tree Menu?

Overview

A tree menu is a type of menu that follows a hierarchical structure of data presentation. It enables you to categorize data items on the basis of the type of tasks, functions, products, etc. In apps you build with the low-code platform, you can add, modify, and customize these categories and subcategories by editing records and pages.

A tree menu is a menu that displays a hierarchy of items that can be expanded or collapsed at the convenience of the viewer. Many browsers used to manage file systems on hard drives are in the form of tree menus, allowing people to click buttons to expand different folders within the file system. Tree menus have the same underlying HTML structure as a menu bar, but rather than being arranged in a horizontal layout, they tend to be arranged vertically.
