What is Psychodynamics?

Overview

Psychodynamics is a science that studies a person’s interaction with various emotional processes and the response to the input from the senses and preprogrammed instincts, and also how the interaction influences behavior, personality, and attitudes.

Psychodynamics, also known as psychodynamic psychology, is an approach to psychology that emphasizes the systematic study of the psychological forces underlying human behavior, feelings, and emotions and how they may relate to early experience.

The psychodynamic approach includes all theories of psychology that view human functioning as the basis for the interaction of drives and forces within the individual, especially the unconscious, and between the various structures of the personality.

Listening to people (users, stakeholders, devs, attendance, etc) is an essential phase in UX processes and in the process of Design Thinking.
