Long-tail keywords are longer and more specific keyword phrases that are used by visitors when they are closer to the place of purchase or when they are using voice search.

Long tail keywords are highly specialized search queries that have relatively low search volume. These are keywords like "SEO" or "keywords" and they are likely to have high search volume to attract the attention of many marketers.

Longtail keywords tend to be longer and more distinctive than their "head" counterparts and, therefore, often have higher conversion rates. Generally, when potential customers find your long-tail keyword search terms in your posts, this will lead to increased engagement.

Longtail keywords often indicate that a searcher is on a conversion path, and that alone is a very strong reason to use them in your content.
